It is your sole responsibility to pay your OPPD bill on time to avoid late fees, collection activity or disconnection of service. OPPD reserves the right to reject your request to enroll in the Payment Installment Plan at any time. By enrolling in the Payment Installment Plan, OPPD does not assume responsibility for payment on your bill once enrolled into the program. If you miss one payment, you automatically will be removed from the Payment Installment Plan and you will be billed for the full amount owed (or due) and expected to pay the same.
Your monthly installment is calculated using the number of months selected and your past due amount. Example: If your past due amount for electric service is $240 and you have agreed to pay that amount over 12 months, OPPD would calculate your monthly installment by dividing $240 by 12 to get $20 per month. This $20 per month amount will be added each month to your electric bill and will be due and owing in addition to your regular monthly bill.
